Chester 50 miles

First ultra Marathon of the year. We are mid-March, weather is nice; cold but sunny. For this year I have chosen a race not to far from my place: Chester. This is part of the GBUltra serie and it is a 50 miles, without much climbing. The start of the race was at 6am. Thes first part 30k is pretty boring and follows the canal while the last 50k is a bit more fun. In GB ultras you get different medal colors based on the ranking. The 200 first finish with a gold medal and I finished 182 our of 499. Iincluding aid station it took me 11h01 to complete the race. And I was on time in the evening to watch France with the 6 nations :)!
